The role reports into the Head of Retail Credit Risk. You will manage a specialist team of up to 3 people, to design and develop statistical models and monitor processes for the measurement and management of retail credit risk, including mortgage application, behavioural and loss models. As a senior individual, you will operate across the company to ensure that credit risk models and outputs are utilised effectively across the business

Significant experience of working in a retail credit risk function within a bank or building society in a similar role developing risk models
Educated to at least degree level with an emphasis on mathematical/analytical techniques, and preferably a post graduate qualification
Capable of leading and developing a team of analysts
Have detailed understanding of the techniques, principles and applications of credit risk scoring
Have excellent communication skills and proven ability to interpret complex analytics to senior management and Committees Have good SAS skills
